richms: Can you run multiple on a single DSL connection ok? Will it handover between suresignals ok?
sbiddle:Linuxluver:Beccara:johnr:Beccara:Also the number of devices, the limit of 4 is very low, I personally live in a 6 phone house with 4 peopler
Yes but all 6 phones are in use all at once are they for phone calls?
So the limit's are for active phones? What are the specific's around it? Is this counted by active calls/data or just phone's "registered" to it. For the few user's who may need this in hellish apartment blocks can you restrict who attaches to the device?
You'd think it might allow some kind of filtering....
It's interesting to see that this seems have been mentioned by numerous people in the last few weeks as something they want to see. When the Sure Signal launched in the UK it was IMEI locked to a small number of devices and was the single biggest negative issue that people had with the device.
I guess there is no pleasing people!

Regardless of what JohnR said, I was told you could have multiple Sure Signal devices in close proximity (for example you have one, your neighbours left and right have one each, and yes handover is implemented.
Also I'd like to point out that, although the product is being officially launched today, it was available from the web store since end of January. You can read a Vodafone Sure Signal review here on Geekzone's PaulSpain blog, posted back 25th January.

oxnsox: From what Johnr has said there is only 1 Sure signal per ADSL connection, but I note from the release video that there is a 3rd (longer range) unit in the pipe somewhere more suited to rural applications.
Maurico gets another Chopper ride......
