Jase2985: but your not experiencing congestion which is what this thread is about.

Like I said, how do you know this is purely a congestion issue? How do you know that other factors are not involved? Do you work at Vodafone? But geez if a simple speedtest is really going to get your panties in a twist I will stop.

The issue is congestion on specific nodes, that much has been acknowledged by Vodafone, so reiterating that your node is not congested doesn't really help. In addition, Vodafone will have network monitoring tools in place so I'm sure they're aware of which areas are experiencing issues without reading any of our speed tests here. I know your intentions are good and I meant no disrespect.

Well actually I'm not sure about that point given as people have always been asked to log faults around this kind of thing so they can track where the problem areas are. Presumably if the network monitoring was in place then that wouldn't be required.

I'm not sure that's quite what they said. Keeping track of the customers who are experiencing the issue isn't the same as using customer fault calls to identify the location of the issue.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

No need to be rude to staff that volunteer time on Geekzone expect a few outages as major planned work goes ahead to sort out the congestion issues

Sorry John, that wasn't meant to be personal. My issue is the corporate communication policy, not you.
