What do I look for to confirm I have a master filter. Does it fit into the white entry point box on the outside of the house and what does it look like?

Master filter is a black box about the size of 2 match boxes. Will have either 2 or 3 pairs of wires going in to it. Possibly in the white ETP box, but as you have a star wiring setup, could also be somewhere around your patch panel.

insane: IF you can get onto the "Slingshot better network" (has to be their equipment and not a Chorus wholesale connection), then you can get Annex M and the faster upload.

This is also true of the Vodafone Red Network (our equipment) - we can change the profile to Annex M in some cases.
