Vodafone put up a massive tower on site at mystery creek around a year ago if i recall. They still had a COW on site iirc, but i'm sure if they wanted to put this gear up there they could.

I know that Vodafone have had one of their C.O.W.s grazing above Arrowtown for a good few months, depends how big their herd is, if it is not on their main tower at Mystery Creek

Just noticed on the latest update that Telecom has added 2600mhz as well to the Hamilton Central Exchange as well as 700mhz

Anyone at Mystery Creek shouldn't have had any reception issues on Vodafone...

First 5 frequency location I've recorded.

Any intel on the different 700mhz frequencies there? Are they the two bands Vodafone is testing? Ignore the 850mhz on the 795 freq, an import script error...

The only usable Telecom LTE was inside the main events centre building

Edit - FYI: Some of your LTE markers are not working, appears to be where there is 700mhz and other freqs

Thanks DjShadow - You're correct, when I made the importer that classified frequencies I had to take a stab at what "700mhz" would actually be since it was well before any official 700mhz was being used.

Anyone have a definitive list of what LTE freq blocks each Telco actually won?

I did a search of the RSM site and this is what is what is currently registered:

Telecom: 715.5, 720.5, 725.5, 730.5, 770.5, 775.5
Vodafone: 735.5, 740.5, 745.5, 790.5, 795.5
2degrees: 720.5, 725.5, 775.5, 780.5

Telecom and 2degrees overlapping, but Telecom's freqs are in the Waikato and 2degrees is in Auckland

These are only test licences as the assignment round for long term position takes place next week. There are 9 blocks in the apt band plan however my guess is that each cellco will licence the largest carrier across their management rights and they will then put up carriers as they want.

I hit 100Mbps on Vodafone there today. Don't know if they had any 700 live to customers though. Can't determine bands in use on my HTC M8
