I was also kicked off exactly when they posted the network status message at 4:30.  Was back up 10 minutes after they posted "hope to resolve in the next 30 minutes".

Mine was out 430 til 530 too :-(

They just ignore emails. Whos a good ISP to switch to? I am sick of these outages, and there is  explaination for the outages.

I've been with Orcon on their Home+ plan since early Nov.  Been very happy with service and speeds.

Also have several friends with Xtra who are also happy with the service + speeds, although the helpdesk is overseas.

After some less than adequate responses to my emails from WXC, I've abandoned the WXC ship back to Telecom .. picked up the Total Home package that will save me a reasonable amount each month as well.  Having ADSL2+ installed in the street recently also helps.
