Average of 21 download speed tests around Dunedin on the vodafone 3G network today: 222 kbps. Glad it has worked out for some folks up north. I'm down about 80% in speed today.

DrCheese I ran some today too and found mixed results compared to Friday so I guess we aren't benefiting from anything afforded to the Aucklanders yet?

Speeds are improved, however coverage is still crap and XT is cheaper. I'm still moving!

No iPhone reboot or turning 3G on and off.. Loving the speed right now..

I know its not as fast as XT but because of txt 2000(other people) and VF family its not really practical for me to change..

Averaging 1500kbps down and 200-300 up - multiple sustained testing.

No dropped calls for a long time and as per the previous post less frequent drop backs to 2g, oh and still on 3.0.

Objective enough for you?

So you would consider your first post objective? I wasn't questioning your statement.
