W00t!  I don't use it much but it is nice to have there just in case, like when Paradise.net's DNS servers (.4/.12) went bye-bye yesterday.

Has anyone heard anything about this yet? That link said "In the next couple of days" about 3 weeks ago.

mch_nz: This deal would be much sweeter if 3g was actually available and reliable in the Wellington CBD....

Are you saying 3G is not available in the Wellington CBD?

Expect to be called up on that one.

Yep, 3G coverage seems to drop so often that it is unusable. Lambon Quay office, direct line of sight to Voda on Midland. And it just dropped again now while I'm typing this reply.

Odd cause IS-HO 3G-->2G to now disabled acorss all RNCs for packet data

John

Actually, Paul - just to say that the current 3GB/pxt cap is working great since you guys launched it.

I hope it continues, as it puts the constant thought of "Oh, I need to check if I am near my mobile data limit" at rest to a thing of the past.

Thanks

Just saw on Vodafone's Twitter page http://twitter.com/vodafoneNZ that the 3GB/100PXT deal is really ending at the end of this month (Nov) and it's going back to 250mb and you can purchase extra data?

Could you please clarify with as many details as you can about what is going to happen at the end of the month please Paul?

Thanks

Here is the announcement: http://forum.vodafone.co.nz/topic/4069-vodafone-launches-1gb-data-add-on-for-smart-phone-plans/

$50 for one GB? That is too much I think.

I'm going to re-calculate who will be the cheapest mobile provider for myself again soon, I think I may have to change because of the 3GB/100 pxt deal ending now! :S
