I'm back to normal speed this evening, Germany transfer 220-400KB/s (average around 250KB/s).
Not just a single connection either, have two doing that speed. Hoping it keeps up.

(I know those speeds aren't fast, its just that I'm temporarily a happy camper again)

Re-signed with TC after finding a new house and being without an isp for a couple of months.

Suffice to say, very impressed. Cable reconnection free, no term.

Installation this afternoon, helpful Downer tech came out, was given between 12:30 and 16:30, had a call at 13:20 saying he would be 20 mins, he was on time to the minute, reconnected the cable, diagnosed a cable issue in the roofspace, sky had pinched the cable drop.

20 mins start to finish I had internet.

Thanks TC.

Jon

Had a follow-up call tonight from TCL. The Tech was checking that my broadband was now working satisfactorally. It is.

Thankyou to the tech for being so open and honest with me. Without divulging too much that was said, I was told that a lot of work has been done recently to increase capacity in many areas of the network. Work is continuing.
Following closely on the success of the recent $75 promotion you join the dots.

It's just a pity TCL weren't more open with everyone from the outset of performance issues.

Regards Allen.
