DeepBlueSky: Hi Guys,
To cut to the heart of the issue, can you confirm I'm reading this right on this thread the Entertain Pack 250GB will be increased to 500GB automatically for all connections that can use the Entertain Pack and this will happen within the next couple of weeks ? or is this only an assumption.

I have cable and use Netflicks I'll be happy if they do.

Cheers

yes and next week

freitasm: Well, it would help if Vodafone marketing stopped pulling these stunts.

No stunt intended. Appreciated your feedback Mauricio and I agree with your sentiments.

We are definitely working on moving customers from old Cable plans (like your own), to new plans, with all upside. We don't want you to be in a position where your current plan isn't right for your needs, but nor is any new one.

Anyone in this situation is welcome to PM myself or Dylan with your account number and we'll do our best to assist.

Why don't you just make the public prices your best deal? I just want to be able to compare on the site. I don't want to have to contact you to get an offer.

Telstra wasn't the best but now with VF things seem to be going down hill even more so.

Bingo!
I have just checked the data usage meter of my Entertain 250GB cable account - it has been upgraded to 500GB as promised.
The Voda website still advertises the old 250GB plan.

The Entertain 500GB packages are now advertised on the VF website - prices are unchanged from Entertain 250GB.

500 GB now shows on my account. Thanks!

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

If you are on the $96, 130Mbit/10mbit, 150gb plan, it'll cost you roughly $55 to move up to the next highest data plan of 500gb.
If you are on either of the new 150gb plans, it'll only cost you $10 to move up to 500gb.
So would it be fair to offer the old plans the opportunity to jump up to 500gb for $10 extra also?

Fair or not you are now on a grandfathered plan if you want any oz of movement you will have to bite the bullet and pay the inflated cost. sit tight and maybe in time as competition drives the price down you may get a comparable price in the future, same situation as those people who were getting 3gigs of mobile broadband, their plans were grandfathered a few years ago, only now are they finally offering something comparable.
I am in the same situation, on the $55 15/2 60gb package, it is a pretty decent price so i'm not worried, a speed increase would be nice, but not worth the now huge jump in cost, unless you have a vodafone on-plan mobile even then is still doesnt cut it.
UFB is meant to be in my area in by midyear so will be making the switch just as soon as its ready.

The reason I mentioned this at all was because of this.
