rugrat: I'd prefer 2degrees two, just for me their 4g wasn't reliable enough.
Every time I turned on data clock my data would drop to 3G even in a rock solid 4G area.

With Skinny the 4G has only dropped to 3G on phone call, but when using only data, including bringe data, the 4G has been rock solid.

No issues for me with 4G coverage or data clock dropping to 3G on my Samsung S8+

I get 4G fine using Data Clock as well. I use it on the train watching Netflix and I rarely see it drop to 3G apart from the underground/trenched stations and tunnels.

Here's the URL of previous post I had with photos to prove what was happening.
Maybe IOS doesn't like 2degrees, but photos prove that it was the case, and with data clock getting down to 1 minute it would then go to 4g, no good to me.

Also there's photo's there to show it stayed on 4G right from the beginning with Skinny.

The only answer I got seem to blame my phone, seemed more sensible to spend $1 on slim chip then buy another $1000+ phone.

@frednz Why would they have to honour anything? Customers did not have to move to the new plan if they did not want to and stay on the old $19 30 day plan it was 100% customers choice to move

If Vodafone had forced customers from the old plan to the new plan then they would have issues with customers complaining about moving from a 30 day plan to a 28 day plan as well

You don't seem to get these plans are chalk and cheese! Another major difference was the older $19 30 day plan offered unlimited calling to VodafoneNZ mobiles during the weekend and the newer 28 day plan did not,

So once again you are not comparing Apples with Apples,

I worked in some way on 100% of prepay plans grandfathered and in market as of today

Just an update on this situation, the customer I was talking about has been shifted by Vodafone to the new $18 per 28 days plan and was not given the option to stay on the old $19 30 day plan.

To the credit of Vodafone, they have advised her that the carryover data and minutes from the old plan will be available to her on the new plan by way of bonus data.

But, I don't like the way Vodafone can just tell clients that they have been removed from one plan to another without giving the clients any rights to stay on the old plan. Can they legally do this sort of thing?

Vodafone moved me to their new 28 day account without my approval. Further, prior to moving me, they topped up the account with another $40 without notification.

After moving to 2 Degrees, I requested a refund of the $40, but was informed that they can only credit a current Vodafone number. They asked if I could supply them with a valid number for them to credit.

By this time, I was truly ready for a verbal set to, which is what happened. To Vodafone's credit, they relented and paid the $40 to my bank account. I was never worried about the $40, just the principle, and their initial "ride roughshod over you" attitude.

They dont need customers permission it's all under the Terms and conditions
