Sounds like something from a news story and people held hostage!

No - it's just a house built in the 90's by people who clearly decided they favoured a more substantial construction to the usual wooden sticks...!

No idea why it was done this way, but of course as one who originates from the UK, a solid house is no big deal.

If only I had the money for the bullet and blast proof windows...and armour plate in the ceiling to deny entry via that route.

So yesterday we hit the fastest speed so far since installation.

It has gone up daily to reach 27.89 and 3.3

Today though, for the first time so far, it has gone backwards to 25.87 and 2.85!

ild probably look at what the modems ui tells you rather than speedtests, they can be a bit hairy sometimes.

That's annoying as it has been faster and was getting faster every day.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

thats how DLM works, it will ramp up, then go too far and pull back.

be glad (kinda) that its doing it, on my line i had errors caused by a switch pushing EMI into the fritz creating errors. soon as i removed it, DLM ramped the connection right down to where it thinks it should be (being a power drop i assume.)

end of the day, dodgy hardware meant my line isnt where it should be, and takes an extra tweak or two to get it there..
