Hopefully apple might change this soon. But I guess you don't really need to be able to buy music over the cell network.

Totally crazy tbh.

What's the point of having a mobile internet device that won't let you spend more money at the Apple store while you are out and about?

I thought the whole point about mobile internet was so that we would spend money 24/7 :)

friendlymonkey: The plans are pretty good value. Economies of scale, less people in NZ.
The data amounts are ample, I signed up to the $80 iPhone 250 plan which comes with 250mb and I am really surprised at how far the data is goes.
When I have been out and about I have been emailing, playing around with maps and browsing the web, to my shock I've used hardly any data. I am trying to use up my 250mb but am finding it really hard.

Thanks for your value vodafone!

Dare me to say that you are not using your IPhone hard enough Laughing.

Back when I had an Imate K-Jam on a Coporate account. I could easily eat through 200+MB amonth just the normal (casual) web surfing, mostly spent on wises.co.nz, Exchange Synchronisation and had MSN Mobile connected 24/7. With a "multi-media" powerhorse such as the IPhone, 250MB is really nothing considering you were "suppose" to use it to access online movies, download music etc etc.. Cool
