dickytim: At home on Patumahoe I am now getting around 13mb/s I will test at work where it has previously been quite slow

Patumahoe Dual carrier went live this morning

John

It did indeed!

Ran a speed test on Saturday on Hunter Road Patumahoe

Ping: 30
Down: 23.34
Up:4.29

I am impressed, I haven't used it to give a real world impression of what the higher speed does for me as I prefer to us my "free" wifi at home rather than chew thru my data!

when my next block starts I'll have a play around and see what the difference between my home broadband that gets 6-8mbps and dual carrier on 23-24mbps.

The Vodafone NZ coverage map is now updated to reflect the 3G extended 900 MHz coverage for Auckland

http://www.vodafone.co.nz/coverage/

Still a few sites going live Coatesville and Riverhead were upgraded early this morning and 3G 900MHz 43 Mbps went live and the 3G 2100MHz was upgraded as well

Would be great to see 4G coverage integrated into this map tool too!

What do I win if I am correct?

You only get a prize once I have tested off the Waima site in Parau.

Prize time Waima is now complete Dual carrier on U900 and U2100 43 Mbps DC is live and GSM / 2G is coming as well but this part is still locked down for a short time
