Been there, done that. Two independent logs and two official complaints. Still no progress. Issue numbers 120513-000161, 120514-000022, 120529-000057, 120608-000053. Ticket number T6475735.

And yet the service status page still hasn't been updated.

Thanks Allistar. I'll ask someone to look into those tickets and I'll email you on here with an update. The service status page doesn't need updating as the network is operating as it should: not everyone is reporting the issue that you are seeing.

Cheers, Gary

Hi TelstraClear,

NOW LOOK. When I looked at my modem last night THE LIGHTS WERE NOT BLINKING IN SYNC.

I know a lot about how modem lights should be blinking and therefore you should fix this now.

I've logged multiple tickets, including 01201MAMUPP3T and 0634W0TSG01NG0N.

Fix it now before I post another angry tweet.

That sounds terrible Muppet, but unless it's been going on for two months I really see nothing to complain about.

day 2 of testing speeds.........
consistently getting 12M down / 1 M up throughout the day,
modem sync speeds are consistent at 14M down/ 1.1 M up.
this is how my internet was prior to moving to Telstra and all issues seems to have been resolved with the move back to telecom. i guess it was my own mistake being influenced by their wonderfull marketing before doing my homework.
well a lesson learned the hard way!!!

Hi

Its not just happening with Tauranaga we have the same issues here in Hamilton and has been the same for the last month.

here is what i get at peak time

Download Speed: 770 kbps (87.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 545 kbps (68.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 158 ms
Tuesday, June 19, 2012 7:59:06 PM

in the day which i would be happy with.

Last Result:
Download Speed: 3562 kbps (445.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 602 kbps (75.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 22 ms
Saturday, June 16, 2012 7:42:31 AM

Huge difference with latency also, this is from TC speedtest server in Auckland.

I have been on the phone to TC almost weekly for a month and still no action just get told they are aware of the problem and are working on it. I don't think i will be there in another month if it is not fixed cant even watch YouTube at 360p without is taking 10 minutes to d/l a 2 minute video.Frown
