Hi I am considering buying a phone from overseas but unsure whether it will work in NZ network(s)

The phone has 2 models for different network i guess:

Model 1:
4g: FDD-LTE, TDD-LTE, 3g: WCDMA, 2g:GSM

Model 2:
4g: TDD-LTE, 3g: TD-SCDMA, 2g: GSM

All discussions and publications in NZ mentioned only LTE but did not elaborate whether it is FDD or TDD. I bet it would be FDD seeing it's operating at 1800/700MHZ. Am I right?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks~

Model 2 is for the Chinese market only. Model 1 needs more information such as what bands are using for WCDMA and LTE.

I'd say these a Chinese imports?

Yep, NZ is FDD, but as freitasm says you'll need to find out the bands. You'll need at least LTE band 3 (1800 MHz), and preferably 7 (2600) and 28 (700) too. If you're happy with 3G only then you'll need WCDMA band 1, plus either 5 (for Spark) or 8 (for Voda or 2D).
