In terms of reception including rural - Spark is the best. I have used 2degrees and Vodafone and found thier reception patchy.

Spark is very good in Data speeds - Especially 4G. 3G data speeds gets slower as most of the users are still on 3G for voice.

Spark has 4G calling - which makes it the best for data and voice.

Incorrect information in your post @jalvares VodafoneNZ has VoLTE live NZ wide as well

I agree on Vodafone's VoLTE NZ wide. I was just referring to Spark in my post.

@Ournewhouse - can't help with a recommendation (should be obvious why) but taking off my work hat - I'm genuinely curious about your reasons to change?

It sounds like customer service and rural coverage might be your pain points; is this correct or is there else that you're looking for that you're not getting from your current provider (presumably VF)?

From a coverage perspective, some info about the range of devices in use might be helpful to know too - e.g. as @jjnz1 mentioned VoLTE makes a difference in rural areas, this is especially true where RBI2 is being deployed. AFAIK VF is only rolling out 4G to RBI2 sites, and as those sites are shared with 2degrees and Spark I wouldn't be surprised if they are using the same strategy... so having VoLTE capable devices might make a big difference if your users spend a lot of time in areas that are/will be served by RBI2.

I volunteer my time on here, and all opinions expressed are my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer.

VF have VoLTE nation-wide, but their 4G coverage has nothing on Sparks - which makes it kinda useless
