Be able to get through to whom?

To the friend. I have to work with them so looking for ways and means to enlighten them.

Don't worry. When 5G activates their Pfizer nanobots they will be eliminated in the purge.

Thank you for that sbiddle. Any idea if it will be running 5G or not? So I can speak authoritatively to friend about it and attempt to talk them down from their high horse...

As a laugh you could explain to him how to turn off 5G on his WiFi router at home :)

Yes and maybe.

The license is there and so is the equipment according to GIS. Is it actually live? Only a Vodafone rep would be able to tell you.

Oh bother! I was hoping (in vain it seems) to be able to get through with "good" news. Thank you all.

There IS good news! It's that 5G is harmless!

Ah - now see what you meant.

Yes I realise that, but it could be fun to wind up the conspiracy :)

Hi @wally22  this is one of our new Vodafone cell sites – we’re building a number of new cell sites around NZ to respond to the massive increases in data use. The Dannevirke site will be turned on in the next few weeks once the build is complete. More info here: https://news.vodafone.co.nz/regionalinvestment

You can find more details about the type of coverage and network available anywhere in NZ, check out our coverage map here: https://www.vodafone.co.nz/network/coverage/.   If you need help convincing your colleague that 5G is nothing to worry about, here’s some info including links to independent sites such as the Ministry of Health… https://www.vodafone.co.nz/our-networks/5g-safe-technology/

Cheers

Ahmed

Thank you AhmedVF

As this is a 5G site and my colleague is a lost cause on this topic I will leave it there. Any attempts to prove the science will be written off as part of the conspiracy I'm afraid. I won't tell them it is for 5G so they won't be tempted to vandalise it.

Some people are unreachable.

My neighbour wouldn't have a smart (power) meter due to radiation concerns but would show you the "evidence" on his smart phone which he kept pocket when it wasn't in his hand. Other topics of conversation included how to beef up his wifi's performance and how power lines are a scam because electricity can be transmitted wirelessly. 😣
