Answer is VoLTE is not something that is currently supported by 2talk. It is something we are looking to support in the future

@Woofjeb That is crazy many sites around NZ are VoLTE only!

Hope this is made very clear on the 2talk website even get end users to sign a waiver before giving them service

No the whole website lacks any details other than the terms of service how to order a SIM card and the pricing. Now the big question is why launch a half-baked service

After initially telling me otherwise (in error), 2talk have confirmed that mobile is separate from the cloud PBX features. I.e. You can't assign numbers, manage voicemail, set schedules, configure caller ID etc. as you can with their VoIP offering.

I'd be happy to pay for an unlimited mobile service where I had the flexibility 2talk offers with their VoIP services, but given the above limitation (nothing more than reselling Spark services it seems) I guess I've got yet another SIM destined for landfill.

That really is lame, I was hoping to be able to have mobiles as extensions so I could do things like pre call screening and stuff on 2talk which they seem to be the only telco that seems to care about offering. Would be good if it would have let me transfer and stuff too, but not sure if that is even a thing over cellular voice.

Kinda disappointed and this keeps telco cellular voice where it always has been, a limited crippled product that is more hassle than it should be.
