Hi, I'm looking for alternatives to 2talk, specifically with a reseller/agent program.

2talk seems to be a really good deal, but with lack of any support seems too good to be true. I tried calling their sales team yesterday and was on hold 45 minutes!

Any recommendations? This is for approx 10 residential customers.

Nownz used to, but I've just checked their website and couldn't obviously see a VOIP only offering. You might be able to run something down though. I haven't used them myself but have heard very good things.

Not sure what their reseller\agent options are like, but as a consumer wxc is the other VOIP provider I would consider.

(I'm perfectly happy with 2talk tbh, but when researching this previously wxc looked like they may be a better option for people who want a bit more support than 2talk offer for a similar price. They also seem fairly well regarded around here for voip.)

Do WxC still offer reseller accounts?
I tried contacting them about it but never heard back and also PMd one of the guys on here and never heard back so just went with 2talk in the end.

There is also Conversant.

I've been using 2talk since mid 2008 and am just starting to look at their white label reseller solution.

Over the years I have had to use support a few times, but never for anything major. Their email support are usually pretty good at turning things around quickly, tho I know this had varied somewhat over the years.

But in these nearly 7 years (and counting) with them, I've never had any major issue at all, so I feel very confident in the platform hence why I am looking at them for a reseller solution.

Email /web based support is best - phone support is about nil.

Honestly though - if you are looking at getting into reselling phone lines etc - dont. It is a very low margin, high turn over and support intensive business - lots of stress - begger all reward.

Alternatively - Get a fibre connection, install a 3cx server nad off you go - but you will still need an upstream provider. 2Talks portal will et you do that and as the previous poster said, they very rearely go down.

WxC put a hold on their dealer program a while ago. No news at this stage as to if / when they may decide to launch such a program again.

Voyager have a really good reseller platform.

But like @ajobbins mentioned, the 2Talk platform seems to work really well. I have never relied on it for PABX features as we install PABX's for customers. But as a SIP trunking platform it seems great. The only times we seem to contact support is for billing or provisioning enquiries. Tech issues are normally reported before we are aware of them and they are very few and far between.
We will be looking at 'My Cloud Telco' very soon as everything seems to work as it should.

+1 for 2Talk they are a low cost and low support option.
They have a really good control panel which enable the end user to do almost everything they need.

If you need more features you simply have to setup and hosted pbx with 2Talk voip lines and away you go.

A few years ago support was poor.
For the last few years or so it has been running flawless.The control panel has lots of options available.

We've been with 2talk for a few years - coming from italk when slingshot stopped non-slingshot phone subscribers accessing their own configuration screens. 2talk has never disappointed - it just keeps on working.
Sure it's not for people that need hand-holding, but for someone who knows how to configure their end (thanks to Steve Biddle's posts here), they're ideal and cheap.
I've also used them for a community organisation that needed up to 10 lines off the one number for a period and it worked - it just worked!
