I've been having quite a few issues with 2talk's iOS app.  It doesnt seem to register my details when capturing it and seems buggy.  Releases are too slow to fix these issues.

I'm looking for a reliable alternative to use on iOS (I dont mind paying for the app if it's good) that others have successfully used.

Assuming I just capture my 2talk credentials, but if you have any other settings I need to configure to get the best call quality on the chosen app, then please let me know.

Thanks. Just installed and setup zoiper. Works fine.
Any way to increase the volume during calls on it?

Do you mean the ringing volume - or is the call volume low?

I cant recall if there were seperate zoiper settings for that or whether its the OS settings that it uses.

Have a look in their community forum http://community.zoiper.com/

Does Zoiper support call kit? (Can you answer a call without unlocking your phone?). I know Bria now has this function.

I dont know about the ios version but on the android version we can go to config>Audio and in there, there is a speaker gain setting which can increase or decrease the speaker volume of the call.

If you are talking about not having to put in a pin or connect dots to unlock your phone then yes it does support call kit. I have Zoiper on my phone and I can answer calls straight away on it.

One thing I have noticed as I have been trying other apps and that is the new 2talk app is buggy on android too. They polished it up and made it look nice but just doesn't work as good as the old 2talk app.  Zoiper is pretty good, but I have 2 phone numbers and my lady, who lives in an area where cellphone coverage could be better uses one of those numbers on her cellphone and on zoiper the call could be patchy. So what I did (as I have always found the old 2talk app worked great for me) I downloaded the Australian 2talk app called 2fone which is our old 2talk app and put our NZ settings into it and it works brilliantly. I am guessing there would be an Australian ios version of this app as well.
