Hiya,
I have just set up a IP webcam, running it from the router. Have just downloaded the latest skype and there does not appear to be a lot I can do to make it recognise the cam? Any suggestions? Have also tried it with messenger with same result (doesnt detect a webcam). Do I need to do something in XP to make it more visible to the skype/messenger software? Any suggestions would be great.

I am pretty sure these programs only recognise a webcam if it's connected directly to your PC via USB, not an IP-based camera.
