I install phone systems and we use C-Talk for all our customers. C-Talk uses the Callplus platform and Phil is very very good to deal with. If you want cheap (ish) prices and great support Phil will sort you out. He is on here somewhere..

However, in terms of running 6-7 phones and wanting PABX type features then a hosted PBX is probably what you want. Or you could look at renting a phone system. Or you could get an old server and run Asterisk in house -probably the cheapest option in the long run as long as it is set up and maintained correctly.

johny99: Ramy do you recommend (aka use in your system) a phone type or brand?

Once again your question gets back to requuirements:

Do you want G.722 HD voice?
Do you want BLF/SLA buttons? If so how many.
What sort of pricepoint do you want?
Do you want external headsets?
What sort of screen size do you want?
Do you want XML based apps?

Withoout knowing your requirements it's very difficult to recommend a phone. I use 4-5 different brands of phones and various different models depending on the customer's requirements.

johny99: Sorry Coffee Baron 2 talk is rubbish in a business environment, will look at Xnet but arnt they one the same?

They are equally poor in a personal environment.

Have to disagree with you there. Their support is rubbish but the platform has been rock solid for me.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

I'd rather have an average platform with great support than a great platform with unacceptable support.

I'm not saying average support at all, 2talk has terrible support.

I wouldn't say WXC have an average platform. From my experience they have a great platform in VFX and great support.

I am saying 2talk have terrible support and a pretty average platform. I wasn't talking about (since I have no experience with), WXC.

+1 Works really well for me at home with excellent call quality. Haven't had to touch support so I can't comment there.

I've setup 2talk in two busy offices, using for all outgoing calls and incoming toll free. Works great, haven't really had to contact their support about much, just the occasional number porting etc.

I have shares in the company, so yes, you will get biased answer from me :)

So you need to disclose this.  Your posts seems like they are coming from a customer.

It's fine to promote your own services (on topic of course) but you need to be up-front and transparent about this.  I've modified your original post to reflect your involvement with them.
