Just a quick update to this thread about Alarm monitoring. After giving up on trying to get the Alarm dialler to work over a VoIP line, I went to AlarmNZ and bought their IP Server and monitoring service. I have had a very good experience with them and the IP Server worked like a charm from the get go!
So for a couple of hundred dollars and the same monthly rate as the previous monitoring company, the problem has been solved and the service has been excellent.
