I'm another person who has just signed up for the SNAP! VDSL2 package using the FritzBox 7340 and are trying to get my existing Xnet VFX to work.
Prior to the VDSL I had ADSL using the WAG310G with Certified VFX.
However, it's been suggested that I could use the WAN port on the WAG310G (from the FritzBox) and use the WAG310G in the same role as those "SPAxxx" units.
I changed to Open VFX today, which means my WAG310G had it's Voice configuration security and settings removed. The amount of settings and tabs within the WAG310G for Voice setup is huge! Is there anyone who could take screenshots (blurr out your username and passwords first perhaps) of their configuration in the WAG310G?
Or am I being silly, and should just try to get it working by plugging the phone straight into the FritzBox and ditch the ageing WAG310G? In which case, this appears to be the best forum topic for Xnet's VFX and the FritzBox 7340: "Forums > WorldxChange / XNet / VFX > VFX on Fritz!box 7340 - No incoming calls"
I've been playing around, and the Fritz!Box is so simple to configure, that I'll probably throw away the WAG310G (well, store it away as a backup and for testing, etc).
Still have what seems to be a registration bug with Xnet where I can't receive incoming calls - but hopefully that will be resolved on that other forum topic.
