OK, so it is at least still progressing, as a search on the Cisco site results in nothing.

Not Viable - meaning because of price, or are there other reasons too?

I cant answer that sorry Frazer as its still in beta, my educated guess will be price may be a bit of a barrier in a residential offering as it appear Cisco are moving away from this space
