But there isn't a one line answer.

If you want a constructive or some honest answers you should start a new post and explain what you think the pros and cons are of moving and ask for advice. Nobody can give you an answer to your question without knowing more information.

I have been using WxC VFX for the past 2 years and has been flawless. As I have 2 voip ports on my WRP-400, I am trying out the "services" of 2talk as for the same monthly fee, get buckets of including calling overseas and nationally.

When I say services, this isn't just the call quality but also billing, tech support and services it offers through its control panel. The whole service.

The tech support has been really good. Phone calls answered within 5 mins and tickets opened through the portal responded to quickly too. Compared to a recent ticket I logged with WxC that didn't even get a response after a whole day. Even when I called them, spoke to someone on the helpdesk who sounded like they had just woken up.

The look and feel of the portal is very "busy"and not as polished as WxC but has some really geeky features that I don't think are available with Wxc (eg. caller tunes, specifying a callback number for making toll/international calls).

The call quality is good but not as good as Wxc and have had feedback from 1 person in Oz already that the line quality wasn't that great. Also found on the weekend that line got very choppy when using the Internet. That's a deal breaker for me and very surprised at that. Have a call open with them at the moment.

My impressions so far are that Wxc offer superior call quality but the amount of free calling minutes is tempting....

This will be poor configuration including I suspect no QoS on your connection. It won't be a 2talk issue.

Well that is interesting. I recently replaced my WRTP54G whose light was recenly extinguished after 3 years of solid service with a WRP-400. Have uploaded the latest firmware, applied the wxc config and that's about it as far changes go.

Am I naive to believe that QoS for VOIP will magically work? There is a QoS option (currently disabled) under applications but I presumed that was for actual applications
