This happened a few minutes ago and any help would be appreciated.

What were you running at the time ?
Made any hardware changes recently ?
Has it happened before ?

BSOD causes are varied, but most common issue Ive found is faulty RAM.

I was going through old photo's on CD, but it was playing up yesterday, froze and had to be restarted.
I've replaced the keyboard and speakers. First time ever for crash.

Suspect memory or overheating then.... run MemTest and see if anything comes up.
If you pop the side of the case off, is there a lot of dust ? Especially around the heatsink.

Stop code 50 I have seen with Hard Drive issues also.
Run a CHKDSK, either from a Vista boot disk, or starting from within windows (then restarting).
Do the full scan.

Trying to run Chkdsk but access denied as you do not have sufficient privileges.

OK, run CHKDSk and it said it found no problems. Re: MEMTEST, which one do I use?

If you know how to burn ISO, then this - http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20/memtest86+-4.20.iso.zip
Else you'll need a USB key that can be wiped and use this - http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20/memtest86+-4.20.usb.installer.zip

THen you boot off whatever you chose, and itll start memory testing - or you can look at Hirens Boot CD (ISO) which is full of handy testing utils etc inc memory, hard drive and more.
