My updates are stuck at 14 of 26... Appears to be working away, but it's been like 30 mins.

Ive got windows 7 home premium 64 bit. Options? When do I start to panics?

After an hour, I shout down the pc. It appeared to complete the updates, restarted... Took ages ( couple mins ), then I ran windows update again. Now it's installing the updates again.

Guess what stuck at 14 of 26 one note 2010 (kb2589345) 32 bit edition...

Any ideas?

Cheers, Stevo

No ideas, but when it's a long list of updates I usually install a few at a time. Also if there's any .Net update I uncheck those and install after all other updates are done.

Obviously not very good if it's a production server, but in those cases I usually see less updates since we don't usually have Office and other software installed on those.

Had the same issue; just waited and it finished eventually. Murphy's law said it would happen right when I wanted to power down the computer so I could turn the mains off! Felt like throwing the damn thing out the window.
