It will be similar to current Windows XP prices. I haven't seem prices for New Zealand yet, but the U.S. version is very similar.

i got these prices from here:

  • Windows Vista Home Basic: $199
  • Windows Vista Home Premium: $239
  • Windows Vista Business: $299
  • Windows Vista Ultimate: $399
but that is US pricing.
vista scares me.

But he was asking for NZ prices, and those are not out yet.

By the way, if you have a MSDN or Technet subscription, Microsoft Windows Vista is now available for download (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=6847).

If you were a participant in the technical beta, and reported any bugs then you probably have an e-mail on your Inbox with a free copy of Windows Vista as a "thank you" from Microsoft.
