You don't have access to a CD writer?

A museum? Simplest is to download it & burn it to disc.

Download and burn....  MS put a stop to magazines etc putting it on their cover CD's.

An official image is available but you need to make the CD yourself.

Behodar - that link says not for use on single computer - they say use the update facility on the computer for a one off. The computer in question has no internet.

Ignore that message about not for use on single computer, you're an exceptional circumstance. just download that and follow the instructions and you should be ok.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Might be easier to give it to your friend on a UFD if you don't have a CD writer
