Hey, i've got this problem on my computer im not sure if this is the right fourm but im pretty sure it should be i had downloaded windows service pack 2 and installed it onto my computer and sometimes it locks up's and freezes so i have to log out and log back in, this problem is gone scince i dont have it any more but i really want service pack 2 as it provides me with a trustworthy firewall and anti virus protection including other things that help, but if i do install it it might lock up and freeze again.
im not sure if it is but could it be a program that has been installed on my computer that is making it lock up? EG, Ghost Recon (Games... etc.)

it is not ur sp2 that is causing the problem. there has to be something else. scan ur pc with ur antivirus, anti-spy and then follw it up by clearing up ur pc junk with ccleaner. if problem still persists, get ur hijackthis logfile auto-analysed at www.hijackthis.de
