win7 Windows Update

So, moved to WIN7(x64) from XP, installed Office 2010 (32bit) but stupidly managed to turn off updates at install time.

Windows Update now says I’m getting updates for Windows only; if I click the link for finding out about updates for other products it takes me to MS site that simply says “…use your start button for updates…”

Is there a registry entry I can reset to get Windows Update to pick Office updates?

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Update\Change Settings

and there is a link there saying "Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update Windows"

Nope, that link goes away when you "stupidly" turn off recomedned updates

Same thing, they seem to redirect to http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5

The problem has now gone away!! See screenshots below,

The top one says You receive updates for Windows only
The bottom one says You receive updates for Windows and other products…

Only change: I just installed MS Essentials and the first scan just finished.

Thanks all, I assume installing MS Essentials somehow reset the Office updates indicator?!

yes, as mentioned above, while i was waiting for replies to this I installed MS Essentials and when I went to get the latest Update screenshot it had all came right!
I had also tried a repair on MS Office, so it might have been that?!

Open windows update (I open IE, Click on Safety, Windows Update), click on Change Settings, then check the box 'give me updates for other Microsoft products' - it is the last one.

From the screen capture above, it looks like Microsoft updates is installed, just not enabled.

agreed, except for me it's the second last option :)
