Nothing important. There is an image file I now have a use for, but it's not in my recycle bin.

I can always go and take another picture - just to show lens sharpness really.

It was deleted a few days ago.

Piriform Recuva. Has worked well for me in the past as a free tool. There are better options for $ but this should do the job if you havn't done too much on the pc since the file was deleted

thanks a lot!

ps not sure about not done much, all you need is one binary missing and the file could be / is corrupt

There are a lot of free options. Gizmo's Freeware is a good site for freeware reviews. In this case see Best Free Data Recovery and File Un-delete Utility.

If you install this onto the disk you deleted the file from there's a chance you'll overwrite the deleted file by installing the software. Install onto a different disk.

This will find hundreds or thousands of deleted files. If it's just a test photo just take another. Install undelete for next time.
