Every few days I get this notification:

Clicking it takes me to the "Your account" page in Settings but nothing else appears there - no error message, notification, anything.

Windows RTM, all updates applied, upgraded from Windows 8.1, not from Insiders' install...

That appears for me every couple of weeks, initially I acted on it with zero results, I now ignore it.

Not really. First that is from the preview version, back in January 2015. Some suggestions that don't work and a reply from Microsoft saying "Since Windows 10 Technical Preview is still under building stage you can find many issues with it." which to me indicates this is something they haven't managed to fix yet since I am running fully updated RTM code.

I have my suspicions it's something to do with OneDrive or Office 2013 personally. They both like to skulk round the place and have a good old rummage.

I agree. But it's misleading the way you click on that sign and get taken to the Settings page where there's nothing wrong...
