Just had this installed on my laptop.  You must specifically ask for it via settings/update and security - it is offered as an optional update.  When the request to reboot for installation came I was surprised at how fast the process was, to the point I could not believe the update had been installed until I looked at settings/system/about.

Googling about the update has revealed a different approach for this release for those upgrading from 1903 (like me).  If there has been much comment on GZ on this I have not seen it.  This release downloaded and installed like a cumulative patch - just a few seconds to shutdown and a fw seconds to install after reboot.  All good.

Fixed typos

It is "just" a patch, a ~4Mb install that takes you from v1903 (build 18362) to v1909 (build 18363)

This was an update with limited scope of changes, shipped to realign the Windows development cycle with Azure development lifecycle, now that the Windows team is under the Azure team

The next major release (20H1) is not far away...

Sounds like user error. (Fix your drivers though?)

Yeah, it's the graphics driver. Mine switches to HDMI everytime I install an updated nvidia driver

I've got 2x DP connected screens with Audio on them, a USB audio interface for multiple mic inputs etc, as well as the onboard audio and I've never had an issue at all. A lot of people seem to have random audio issues with Win10 but I've just never seen any myself.

Ive had to deal win Win10 audio issues
One was Asus laptops , that required finding hacked old drivers to get something that actually worked, it was a known issue never fixed (mic issue , a Winupdate killed it)
So to fix it, had to use hacked drivers for some unknown site and hope like hell it you wernt installing malware

Other was a projector PC. Win10 kept changing the default audio device on EVERY reboot , so no sound using the projector unless you manually changed the default sound device.
That one was never fixed .
Even if I disabled the sound devices (driver) I didnt want, on reboot Win would re-enable the driver & set it as default.

fanbouys install the latest version update, ASAP
then start complaining that its full of bugs , almost every time .

so, why the urgency to install these major updates.
The sensible thing is WAIT TILL ITS PROVEN BUGFREE .

Stop fiddling , wait . Let others be MS's bug testers

What bugs are there in 1909? Its basically a placeholder update.

Theres a HUUUUGE difference between installing a build update thats been out for a month (and well tested in the wild) and a build update thats been out a week.
And there a difference between installing on a machine thats only used for testing & your only/main PC

I just did a download of 1909 using media creator tool. Install from USB went fine but often Windows File Explorer is buggy. It often gets stuck saying 'not responsive etc' and annoying when copying files around, cut/paste etc using mouse.

A few people reporting this issue and its not a good start.

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/file-explorer-search-not-working-in-windows-10/3c70ea75-79a8-4f3b-b10a-86be1f22931c

Unfortunately you can't roll back to 1903 if you use the 1909 install USB i.e you can;r remove the feature 1909 update as its built in :( so hopefully MS release a patch soon as I over wrote my 1903 USB :(

It would appear this was a semi clever one, where the updates/changes were pre-pushed. And just not enabled.

The patch, switched them on. Which would explain no rollbacks.

You can rollback from 1909, if you’ve upgraded to it
But you need to have something to rollback to
If you’ve installed 1909 and not upgraded to it, you’ve nothing to roll back to
This is the same as the very other feature update
