I seem to have a program called Virtual Box by Oracle that is blocking my ability to update windows as it says it is incompatible.

I have tried several things over the leat couple of days

upgrading to the latest version then removing via oracle uninstall action

tried various online suggestions removing some reg entries (carefully)

am not getting anywhere anyone got a silver bullet for it?

Look in services for one left behind.

The only thing it really does is create a virtual network drive or 2. And some services to load (I think). Along with some system device drivers.

Got the actual message/screen it's stopping at. Seems unlikely some installed software should stop it, but seems theres a first for anything.

Points finger at the virtualization services/drivers. And even the installer sitting on your drive might freak it out
