I am changing from onboard raid to Adaptec controller card.
The system has been functioning on a single drive while waiting for decisions/parts so the two mirrored drives are not the same anymore.
I am uncertain what to anticipate with this and would like some suggestions/ideas as this is an enterprise server running server 2003.

Tread carefully or you will have an unusable system
Here"s my suggestion
Install drivers for the raid controller and make sure sure it works in device manager
Ghost your system to a spare drive, make sure its good before you go any further
create your raid arrray with the drive, then ghost back to that from the spare drive
