Just received the upgrade to Win11 22H2

Edition    Windows 11 Pro
Version    22H2
Installed on    ‎1/‎10/‎2022
OS build    22621.521
Experience    Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22634.1000.0

Took 5 Minutes for the upgrade to install, then another 10 minutes to start everything I normally have running.

Still renumbered the audio devices!

Everything working so far.

(i7-12700 / 32GB RAM / SSD)

Hi I upgraded to 22H2 as well and I actually think it boots up quicker now from previous W11Pro version with the other patches.

Seems OK and stable build so far.

Totally transformative too...

How is Win 11 these days?

I've been extremely cautious and held off because of audio driver issues(I used to have an external DAC but I no longer do) and just random performance issues on some platforms.

So just wondering how it is these days and if it's worth shifting from Win10.

MaxineN:So just wondering how it is these days and if it's worth shifting from Win10.

I have some s/w that won't run under Win11, so have kept one at Win10 where it runs fine. (Win11 capable if I u/g the BIOS, but not upgrading the BIOS means Win11 won't be "forced" on to it!)

Win11 seems to run well. If I can find a workaround or alternative for the bit that doesn't currently work with Win11 I would u/g the Win10 PC.

I rate it, haven't had any issues with it. We use Win 10 at work, and I find myself missing features from Win 11.

Firefox, 82 windows and over 1800 tabs, appears to have memory leak and associated zombie process that is un-resolvable without a reboot.
