I have noticed what appears to be a couple of bugs with the Media Center in Windows 7, has anyone else noticed the same, or know how to fix?

1) No TV Signal

Have not pinpointed yet when or why exactly this happens, but from time to time, when going from the PC to the Media Center, the TV comes up with that error, and does not display...

Normally, eitier closing and restarting Media Center, or if that does not work, rebooting the PC, will get it working again...

This is not atmospheric interferance related, and I have never seen this issue in Vista (other than when weather causes it, but then it will come back eventually by itself)

2) Movies stopping when Media Center minimised/maximised

This seems to happen only when watching movies stored on the PC, it does not happen when watching TV...

When watching TV, you can minimise, expand, and  make Media Center full screen without any problems, but when watching a movie stored on the PC, doing any of that will cause the movie to stop, and it will only work by going back into the folder and restarting (from where it left off)

3) Media Center fast forward/rewind remote/keyboard keys interfere with whatever is playing on Media Center, when 'outside' Media Center

This is not so much a bug, maybe more something that has not been done (for whatever reason)

Previously in Vista, if you had Media Center open, but minimilised so you could swap to another program, if you tried to type or use the browse keys in the other program, those keys would automatically bring Media Center back up to the front, and make the changes as dictated by those keys...

Now in Windows 7, its better, as those keys, generally will only control/makes changes to Media Center, when Media Center is at the front, the program currently being used....which means the keyboard/remote keys can now also be used to control other things, such as browsing, or typing, if Media Center is minimalised....

That is, all except for the fast forward and rewind keys...

Those keys, are handy in browsers like IE, for going back and forwards a page....but if Media Center is open, they still force it back into the front and make changes to that.

Thoughts?

Hmmmm......another litle bug I notice (not Media Center related though)

Twice now, when booting up, Windows 7 has logged me into a 'tempoary profile'...comes up with error message saying it has done that...it still has my name and photos etc, but all the programs and settings are the systems default...

If I reboot straight away, I then get into my normal profile no problems.....strange.

Have a look in the event log. It should give you some more info about why you were logged in with a temp profile.
