Hi,

I've installed W7 on my laptop and have read the Windows firewall is pretty good for average users, but I use Zonealarm Pro on my desktop and like being able to see the logs and setup port forwarding etc so want to get a 3rd party firewall for my latop.

Since I need Antivirus as well I've been looking at all in firewall/antivirus one suites. Comodo firewall gets good reviews and they offer Comodo Internet Security which includes antivirus for free. Does anyone here use that or know how good the AV is? (I remember seeing a site a while back that compared AV software on the number of infections they detect etc but can't find it?). The other I am considering is ESET Smart Security, the NOD32 AV has lots of good reviews but I can't find much about their firewall, is it as good as Comodo?

NOD32 AV gets my vote. I hate their firewall though. It's a pain to configure. I only renew to NOD32 AV subscription now.

Couldn't be any slower that the Sunbelt Firewall i have at home..

NOD32 by far, but i prefer just using their antivirus. I have no need for a software firewall, windows firewall is sufficient and my router controls all port forwarding.
