I need to automatically email some log files every day from a WinXP machine, preferably with a small program that can use my own smtp server (or xtras).

Anyone doing this or got a recommendation to make?

Thanks

hrm... i might have to think about that. We do something similar with log files from our servers, but then they have IIS and exchange installed on them

automailer from http://www.duodata.de/automailer/

works perfectly, scheduled polling of directories, automatically sending specified files (or masks - *.log or *.*), configurable smtp server, and to and from names + subject plus message body.

Can zip files before send if required, and also optionally delete a log after its sent.

and its freeware :-)
