Seems to be working fine. I don't see any  s, though it does make all but the first space in a string of spaces non-breaking... Perhaps the bug was related to this somehow?

FWIW I'm running 9.10 and just noticed it doing weird stuff to me today (haven't posted for about a week) - however the posts seem to come out okay once submitted - just format strangely in the text editor (wrapping goes all wonky and so on)...

Smile

In that case, is it possible to disable the rich text editing only for versions of Opera older than 9.23 or whichever version fixes the problems?

Nope, Opera is listed as a platform, no specific versions.

Have now had the problem 2 times out of 2 with v9.24 - see http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=44&TopicId=16772. Haven't figured out a pattern or how to recreate it yet.

I have always found with Opera on here (Geekzone) that if you start typing a reply befor ethe page has fully loaded (i.e. donwloaded & rendered all the graphics files) it often spits the dummy and plays up in the text editor/post area and sometimes won't even submit/post the message once you have compelted it. So patience is the key (wait for page to completely load) - I assume its just a compatibility issue with the scripting used by the site's forum engine...

Undecided
