Same result, have set everything I can according to that article but I still get the same result, I cannot change the permissions of the drive when it is connected to the network, access denied :-(

Yes I can but when I connect the drive to the router permissions change to Unix/root.

I read somewhere that the router have trouble writing to high capacity ntfs formatted drive.

Ok in that case make sure you don't have files larger than 4gb ... Not supported
