DONT do the upgrade. The breakages in outlook alone are legendary - huge issues with Activesync and Exchange connections.

It is another step on the path of losing functionality.

Crashes galorw with windows 10.

Try this to remove nag screen. Do the reg hack - stop office. Restart it or restart PC and try office again.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

TwoSeven: it creates continuous change which is a good thing

Yeah, I'm not convinced. It's always great when you come into work and the punters are asking you where Lync has gone and why if we have Skype (4B) now, wont it connect to auntie Sharon on Skype in Timaru and why are some emails disappearing into a folder called clutter and what is a clutter anyway and why does IT keep randomly changing stuff, and why are IT such bastard people?

So So This!

and another perspective since we're using anecdotes here:

No legendary Outlook breakages here

no problems with ActiveSync or Exchange connections

No crashes galore on my Windows 10 machine

Can't recall a single piece of functionality I'm missing after the upgrade

gooselyr: ESET antivirus and Icloud both are not compatible with office 2016, so i needed to reinstall 2013.  i have checked again and they are still not compatible today.

AFAIK, the latest versions are compatible. It is difficult to understand why such issues would not be resolved given that Office 2016 is so widely used and has been out for months. So do you mean that the incompatibility exists for older versions of these products which you are using?

I thought the only iCloud issue was losing calendar sync. That's been fixed:

Likewise, the only ESET problem I've seen related to Office 2016 is with Outlook but ESET version 6 says it is compatible.
