A command line interface is not DOS. 98 and even ME required DOS to run. It was not standalone like XP.
Its like the Sega Mega CD. You had to have a Megadrive (I had both. Sonic CD = best Sonic game ever!)

XP had a command line, but it was just a command prompt, not actually DOS.

I've done some testing and cleaning up of unwanted files, but there is still a big difference.

Ubuntu shows the same free space as Windows, now at 68.7GB

TreeSize Pro shows 43.1GB in use.

WinDirStat shows 42.6GB in use

If I check the 'Show Unknown' box in WinDirStat it shows 26.1GB as 'Unknown'

I tried using the UBCD but it would not load any of the utils for my Drive (Hitachi) - Laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad T400.
