vexxxboy: maybe why you are there it might be a good idea to set up remote access so you can fix any problems easily from your computer, it was the best thing i ever set up on my fathers laptop .


Totally agree with that. For a Windows environment - Windows Remote Assistance works really well.

I find Teamviewer brilliant for assisting friends\family.

Also, on the wider subject of paving a new machine, or repaving existing from a clean image, ninite is great:
