Shindig: I have auto login to the only local user account setup.
RDP now doesnt work, I'm unable to "steal" there session.
xlinknz: I am impressed that so far only one app doesn't work [a gogo6 ipv6 tunnel client but I'll look into that]
What I am impressed with is that previously when I looked at my downloads folder it took ages [wasn't indexed] but under Win10 it is really fast. I assume Win10 indexes all locations ?
ChrisNZL: Start menu - why can't I edit the items on the left?
Why do all my Start menu icons sit on blue box tiles? Is the app's icon not enough? Wish the boxes were transparent.
Why does every open item on the bottom taskbar have a blue underline? I can already tell they're open because I have them set to show their titles (whereas my inactive icons are textless); blue lines are distracting.
Why aren't titlebar colours editable out of the box? I had to install a tool to be able to change titlebar colours; stark white looked horrible.
Why does the ding/alert/error sound sound like I've received an email or a pleasant notification? Doesn't fit the event.
Why doesn't Explorer have tabs?
Other than that, no qualms. Feels like the Windows I know, but with a really bad UI skin applied. (bring back Aero!)

I want to download 32-bit and 64-bit ISO and USB files to do manual installations on different computers. Microsoft, with all the usual artificial unintelligence at its disposal, won't let me. Because the computer I am using is 32 bit, it smugly insists that I have the wrong computer to download 64-bit files. I really wish Microsoft would quit trying to do my thinking for me. I have run up against nonsense logic loops like this since the days of Windows 3.2. Solution, please.

What am I doing wrong, then? It worked with the 32-bit ISO, but when I go back and try to download the 64-bit USB version, I keep getting a message from Windows that I am trying to download the wrong version for my machine and it won't let me proceed. I don't see anything else on the page to get past that.

Rikkitic: Yes, that's how I made my choices but then it said I had the wrong machine for the 64-bit download and it wouldn't let me proceed. Maybe there was something left in memory from the previous download. I will try again tonight (I'm on a data cap) and record my results.
