You have to have hidden folders turned on to see it.

MSDN is Early August so I read somewhere.

I have a BT folder. I suspect it is still downloading, and I will be prompted to install it once that is done. However I've just restarted my laptop due to doing an optional Windows Update for Windows 8.1 released yesterday. I noticed before installing it that an attempt to do a Windows Update occurred at 8.53am; and next to it it had 'Failed'. Don't know what was trying to install.

Or just go to the command line and do "DIR /AH" on C:\ and "CD" to it and "explorer ."

It looks like something is installing, but is failing. I check Windows Update "Updates were installed: 9.34am (Failed). Anyone else noticing this? I run 8.1 (64-bit).

It might sit for awhile, mine did. One machine is now sitting at 5.97GB and the other is moving along and currently at 3.22GB. Just have to be patient.

The update won't be installing at 29 JUL 00:01... Bits are being distributed behind the scenes and if you have reserved your update your PC will notify you when all bits are ready.

I am glad I am not alone with the failed Windows Update messages!

My folder is at 6.62GB. I tried clicking on setup.exe but got the same error -- http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=45&topicid=177267&page_no=4#1354041
