I have for a very long time used Thunderbird as my mail client of choice for Linux. What client do users here use? Thunderbird, Claws, Evolution, Kmail, Geary, Mailspring or others?

Normal ain't coming back, the crazy stays.

Thunderbird at home, but it's getting slower and slower. Outlook at work because I have no choice - it's ok.

Opera on w10, Thunderbird on Mint, K9 on android phone.

For me as a basic user, I'm not sure there is any significant difference between them although opera not opening pdf by default is a annoying.

Gmail based at home and work, so Wavebox works nicely.

I've slowly moved away from using a separate client (had been Thunderbird) - to the point that when I purchased a new laptop and had to reinstall Windows on the other earlier this year didn't bother installing a separate email app.

For offline access, Gmail now has it baked in - while it does use the full Gmail interface (as opposed to that cut-down version one could add as a plugin), it is still relatively limited time-wise (only up to the last three months). See https://www.computerworld.com/article/3271068/email/gmail-offline.html. But in reality, I find I'm rarely in a situation where I have no online access and need access to old emails - hence in the real world Gmail via browser works just fine.
