If you have a modern PC with SSD you shouldn't even bother with fast startup.

 

 

I didn't even know that option existed until I had to turn it off. :-)

I rid my windows 7 & 10 it was a hassle plus takes room to waste and only bloats your hard drive. Happy with my Linux mint, never returning to windows again
